Our Training Program
At Susan Artes Stables we offer training, lessons and coaching for the serious rider whose goal is to compete on the show jumping "A" Circuit. We also train and compete all levels of show jumpers up to Grand Prix for owners and investors.
We maintain an active show schedule, typically competing in 20 to 30 jumper shows each year throughout California, the West Coast, Canada and Europe.
We offer a program of full training to our clients, along with coaching at competitions. Susan and/or Max are also available to offer clinics at your facility, anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
We specialize in finding talented young horses and training them up through the levels. We can help you find your next jumping prospect, and make frequent trips to Europe to find and buy our clients their perfect show jumping partner.
Our training program aims to create strong, healthy, and obedient horses that respond to light aids from their riders., and we include elements of both the German and classic American styles to achieve this goal.
